What the launcher does
- Downloads the client and game data for you.
- Verifies every pack and repairs damaged files.
- Updates itself — you download this file once.
- Detects your Windows and installs the 32- or 64-bit client.
Before you start
- First launch: run as administrator so the patcher can update files.
- The launcher patches automatically — you never re-download the client.
- Install outside Program Files to avoid Windows permission prompts.
